The O2 arena

The arena at The O2 truly created a new benchmark in what both fan and performer could and should expect from a rock or pop concert in the UK. You can see the world's hottest and most sought after acts at this iconic venue, which has hosted Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Scissor Sisters, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Take That amongst others.

The O2 arena can be transformed from a concert venue into a breathtaking world class sporting arena within hours and proudly hosts major sporting events throughout the year. The O2 is dedicated to promoting and supporting British sport. As an official partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games it hosted both the gymnastics and basketball finals.

In addition to the arena itself, the venue provides a mix of entertainment venues, restaurants, clubs, a shopping precinct, multiplex cinema and office accommodation. Excellent transport links with the London Underground (Jubilee line), Thames Clippers, a 24hour bus terminal and the ‘Emirates Air Line’ chairlift, linking the peninsula to the nearby ExCeL Exhibition Centre, all contribute to the site being established as a key entertainment and transport hub for south London and beyond.
