The Apprenticeship Levy...........How are you using yours ?

Posted by on 23 August 2018 | Comments

When the Apprenticeship Levy was launched, I found it interesting talking to other companies on how they were going to use it as no-one appeared to really understand it. Our own HR Manager at the time indicated the funds could be used to up-skill some of our existing work-force, but neglected to mention the study time that would have to be put in on a weekly basis, which would prove impossible operationally during busy parts of the season. At any rate, that isn't what it was designed to do.

The Derby...but not just The Derby !

Posted by on 4 June 2018 | Comments

So what a great weekend, and the summer proper feels like its started. Car park and traffic management, security and stewarding, cleaning at yet another Epsom Derby with some great feedback from our clients and numerous Spotlight Award nominations for our staff. Thank you to all of you who supported this great event. But it's not just about The Derby. We had numerous other events  this weekend including Alexandra Palace, Chepstow, Race 4 Life, Towcester Racecourse, Twickenham London Sevens and Wembley Stadium England v Nigeria amongst others, and its the support and management of those that allows the team working The Derby to focus, so well done to all who supported CSP on this busy, hot, long and tiring weekend.  Caring Safe Professional.

Chelsea's A Team

Posted by on 13 April 2018 | Comments

So the Managing Director is a Chelsea season ticket holder. He hasn't had a lot to smile about when attending matches recently. Good job we've got a great team operating the externals. As well as managing the road closures and external traffic, the customer service and stewarding operation post match provides an exceptionally valuable experience of getting away from the area. This operation is a great benchmark, separating the queues from those using the match day entrance for Fulham Broadway Station and those passing in Fulham Road. It keeps visitors safe and provides an expedient operation to clear the area as quickly as possible, whilst having a bit of banter with the fans post match.

Twickenham keeps on delivering !

We are very proud of our team at Twickenham Stadium and the operations delivered there. As well as managing Twickenham Stadium's car parks, we also look after the entire route from Twickenham Rail Station to the Stadium, almost a mile, with our customer service stewards, particularly important whilst the re-building of the Station is taking place and protecting local roads for residents, and the road crossings and traffic on the busy A316.
