As we are a specialist provider of Traffic Management to the venue and events industry, as well as supporting civil work from time to time, making sure our teams receive the right training and accreditation is paramount to giving our clients the confidence that their traffic management is being managed and delivered correctly. Whether football, rugby, horse-racing, golf, exhibitions or even major events such as G7, Cornwall or COP26, Glasgow, we design and implement TMP's (Traffic Management Plans) and can support with Chapter 12d, Chapter 8 (Signing, Lighting. Guarding) and CSAS (Community Safety Accreditation Scheme) operatives.

This week, some of our Management Team undertook their training of the Lantra 12D M7 course, and all passed. This is a 2 day course designed for Managers and covers:

  • Operative and scheme requirements.
  • Reference documentation and definitions.
  • Categories of road network and operations.
  • Principle responsibilities.
  • Quick guide on highway legislation, affecting Temporary Traffic Management operations.
  • Carry out on-site assessments.
  • Other legislative requirements
  • Equipment, uses and requirement for use.
  • Site requirements, limitations and actions.
  • Site works and monitoring.
  • Site and activity specific requirements.
  • Set scenarios of temporary traffic management requirements.

So well done to Kasey, Rhys, George, Nana, Alan, Richard, Kelvin and Viren, all of whom successfully completed their course.
